We’re highlighting Massivit in our Innovation in Additive series as back in June we presented them as winners for the Consumer award at the TCT Awards! The work was celebrated for its innovative approach to Superyacht Sundecks, in collaboration with Wolz Nautic.
Massivit 3D Printing Technologies is a leading provider of industrial 3D printing systems for a wide range of markets, including automotive, marine, and railway.
The world of yacht design is evolving, driven by the groundbreaking capabilities of additive manufacturing. As designers push the boundaries of creativity, traditional boatbuilding methods are struggling to keep pace. Enter Massivit, a company at the forefront of 3D printing technology, offering a solution that's reshaping the industry.
Wolz Nautic Italy, a renowned manufacturer of teak decks for superyachts, faced a significant challenge when building custom Jacuzzi areas. Traditional methods were time-consuming, expensive, and often resulted in dimensional inaccuracies. By turning to Massivit's additive manufacturing, Wolz Nautic was able to streamline production, reduce costs, and deliver superior quality.
We also had the pleasure of seeing Massivit at IMTS 2024, where they successfully showcased their latest innovations. The company's booth was a major draw for attendees, eager to see firsthand the capabilities of the Massivit 10000-G, a large-scale 3D printer that has been making waves in the industry.
Visitors to IMTS were treated to live demonstrations of the Massivit 10000-G, which showcased its ability to produce complex parts with incredible speed and precision. The printer's Cast In Motion technology, which accelerates mold production by 80%, was a particular highlight for many attendees.
We’ll certainly be keeping a close eye on the additive manufacturing innovations from this incredible leader in the field of industrial 3D printing.
